overall a good movie (story line and acting wise). The subtitles really made it easy for any non-Russian speaking audience to follow the movie. This time period romantic tragedy set against the Russian civil war backdrop also gives us a glimpse of the Russian history. The quality of the video was good.

Admiral is a good movie depecting the life of an Admiral in Russian Navy. The movie plot runs with two parallel flows that complement each other. The first being the tough and difficult struggle of a Navy official during the Russian revolution and the second being the soothing love-story between the Admiral and a poet. The actors have acted authentically in this movie making this a definitely good movie to watch.
Brother is a traditional gangster movie. It focuses on the issues of poverty and crime during an era in Russia. The movie has a right mix of both violence and music. It also proceeds at a good pace. Overall, the plot is solid and both the story and the background appear authentic. It is a story of an unemployed man who gets pulled into the criminal activities by his own brother. The entire movie has a continuos subtle background of music. One of the highlights of the movie is building custom and intelligent explosives by the main character. One area where the movie needs improvement is subtitles, which were sometimes gramatically incorrect and were missing for songs.

If you wish to have fun and relax for ~26 minutes, watch this movie! Funny observation of how gangster mentality has difficulties with fitting/communicating with modern environment. Though both, "физрук" and democratic students turned out to be in a win-win situation. I am looking forward to the next part.
The movie is interesting. The screenplay in the second half of the movie could be improved especially when he meets the Russian Rock stars. Overall, its good!

The film is not impressed. Gloomy, depressed, hopeless. St. Petersburg’s weather and Sasha Vasilyev (soundtrack) did not add any optimism. The main character (Masha Mironova) suffers from mental disorder (on my opinion), torture herself and causes suffering to her family and friends. No way out. Only acting skills of my favorite actresses allowed me watching this movie to the end. The end is predictable (there must be a ray of sun in this darkness), but it is unconvincing to me, I felt sadder by the fact that in real life everything is not so good and sunny and the “happy end” happens in the movies only. English subtitles need a serious revision

This movie is a "MUST_WATCH"!! It is a romantic tragedy. I was awestruck by the relentless love of Anna and Admiral Kolchak and then Admiral's death at the end was very moving. The valor and patriotism of Admiral Kolchak gave me goose bumps! Both the main characters of the movie were strong and well-written. I highly recommend this movie for four main reasons: 1. The cinematography of the movie was beyond awesome. 2. The picture quality was very good and the HD option was working well. 3. The subtitles were in good English. 4. Last but not the least, the main actors of the movie were very good-looking ;) and had an amazing screen presence.
